Tubes?

So Beckhamn has yet another Ear Infection, I think that is his 6th or 7th since he has been born for those of you keeping count that would average out to about one a month. So we have tried multiple antibiotics and nothing has worked to great, So when I took him in this time the Doctor says ok well I think that it is time to refer him to and ENT, So we are going in on the 18th and hopefully will get this resolved. Does anyone out there have any kids with Tubes? What is the process like and has it been a good thing?

Happy Birthday to my Dear hubby!

Ok so Sunday was my Hubbys 25th birthday! I know I am a little late posting anything butI cant just let it go by without mentioning how great my husband is and what a great father he is. I love him so much and am so lucky to have such a kind and understanding husband. For his Birthday we had some friends over from our ward, funny enough the Walkers. We had some great Trip tip and some yummy yummy Costco cake.
I am always so excited or his birthday, especially this year, why you might ask, well every year that I have a birthday I have to wait 3 months until we arae the same age and its never bothered me before but Turning 25 kinda hit me weird so I was excited to have Chris also be 25 and feel my pain. To which he says well I cant wait until you turn 30 cause I will still be 29. I love him so much and his sense of humor!

This year for Christmas my side of the family was all together so we of course tok family pictures as two more members of the family were added!

6 Months old already?!?!

Thats right This little guy was 6 months old on the 16th! I cant believe how fast it has gone by! Wasnt I just huge pregnant? This little guy rolls over all the time, has started babbling and hasnt stopped! He loves loves loves his big brother and daddy! he sits up almost all the way on his own! and our little nickname that has developed over the last couple of weeks is now scooter, he scoots everywhere! Before I know it he is going to be Crawling! At his doctors apt he weight 18.9 lbs and was 28 inch long! yes he is a big boy I know I have mothers of 9-10 month olds come up to me and say oh how old is he and I tell them 6 months and they respond by saying OH my 10 month old is about his size! What a change from Duncan who was way under weight until he reached about a year! He is such a happy baby He sleeps all night. He loves pears and Peas! I was somehow blessed with two great kids!

I guess Its time for an update...

Ok well this past month has been a busy one, the day after Thanksgiving I braved the Black Friday shopping and got all my Christmas shopping done that day and had everything wrapped about two days later. Then we were planning on driving up to Utah on Christmas eve for Christmas at my families house but My mom was busy with work and was trying to figure out how to get all the shopping and decorating and cooking done before Christmas when everyone was coming on Christmas Eve and she had to work all day Christmas Eve, so I found a 10 dollar flight from here to Vegas on the 12th and flew out on the 14th. I was there for about 10 days before Chris drove up with his mom. We made Christmas cookies and bread and pie. Then on Christmas Eve Chris and Carol drove up and we had a great Christmas, Duncan had been asking for Hungry Hungry Hippos for about 3 months and so my mom had bought it for him, When it had come time to open his presents we saved that one for last. He started opening it and saying what is it what is it? Its Its Its HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPOS!!!!!!!! He was so happy that's all he talked about all night. Of course he got tons of Buzz Light year stuff also which he loved! It was so great to have my whole family there. On Christmas day we took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 and then had dinner! The next day we did family pictures in the freezing cold but they turned out great! We are so grateful for Autumns new Camera! Beckham sat and took it all in, and loved all the attention, Now I just have to ween him from wanting to be held all the time. I will add pictures later today!

Our Weekend in Santa Barbara!

This past Weekend we got to get away, My niece was blessed in Santa Barbara. We got there on Friday and had dinner at this amazing pasta place called Pastavino. They had great food! Following the great pasta we proceeded to get great Ice cream! I seriously think I gained 20 pounds this trip! Saturday morning we all went to the Santa Barbara Zoo, Not to knock on our good ol Chaffee Zoo but this Zoo was great! It had Lions and a snow Leopard, and Giant Gorillas. We had a blast and saw some great things! Then we went to dinner at Los Arroyos! Again Yummy Mexican food!. Sunday was great to see little Brinley Blessed, then get to relax with family. Brinley and Beckham are 4 days apart but if you were to look at them they look like they are months apart. Beckham is our little monstar, he is 4 pounds bigger but looks much bigger and she is a little petit thing. Her little brother Ryland couldnt say Brinley so he called her "winnie dirl" So now we all like to call her winnie. We got some great photos of her and Beckham. I cant wait for Christmas when we are all together again.

This was our stop for lunch at Burger King and Duncan turned his Crown upside down and said he was not a king but he was a knight!

This is Kaiden and Duncan, Duncan just loves his older cousin, He looks up to him! I love that he does because Kaiden is such a good kid!
