Carols Wedding
The Weekend after Sawyers blessing we drove to California for Carols (Chris' mom) Wedding. Carol met such a nice guy named Jerry almost a year ago on a blind date. They really hit it off from the start, The next time we came back to Fresno we met him and his Grandkids. We had such a good time and He fit in so well. So when he called and said he wanted to ask her to marry him we could not be more thrilled. So we started planning a wedding! Carol came out when Sawyer was born and we found her BEAUTIFUL wedding dress, and kind of came up with a theme for the wedding. We got to work and it came together beautifully. We had it at Tivy Mountain Winery (which by the way is for sale if anyone is interested!) Which is absolutely gorgeous, we have had family pictures taken there and its just beautiful. We had a burlap and lace theme. We got up really early to start getting ready and be out to the winery to get the final things in place. Carol and Jerry did a first look photo and it was so special to watch, it brought me to tears. The ceremony was so nice and it included all of the Grandkids! Duncan pulled a wagon that carried Sawyer and Londyn (Chris' brothers Daughter) in little seats and the wagon had a burlap sign that said "Happy Ever After Starts Here" then Beckham and Jerrys Granddaughter Raeligh were the ring bearer and Flower girl and following them was Jerrys Grandson Travis with a sign that said, "Papa, Here comes your Bride" Carol was walked down the Isle by her two sons, Chris and Steven. It was so special. I am so glad that Carol met Jerry and that they are happy. I am also happy to have two more sister in laws! Macey and Jerrisha! Our kids get along great and so do we. I feel like we have all been family for a long time! Congrats to Carol and Jerry!
Sawyers Blessing
We had Sawyers blessing the same weekend of the Marathon since all the family was there for the Marathon. We were so lucky that my mom now works for an event center so we could have it there, (since it was General Conference, we could not have it at church) So we set up some lunch and turned on Conference and had a great afternoon with Family, Chris Blessed Sawyer and it was beautiful. I am so Grateful for the priesthood and for my family for coming all the way here to be apart of Sawyers Special day!
St George Marathon
About 2 weeks ago was the St George Marathon, About 6 months ago Chris said he wanted to run it, Now let me tell you a little back story before I finish, a couple of years ago I volunteered at an Ironman race, I was so inspired by all the participants that you could say I got a sort of high off the experience. So last year a friend of ours who is involved with the Ironman and the Marathon asked Chris and I to volunteer at the Starting line of the Marathon and drive one of the trucks that held all of the runners clothes and belongings, I was was excited to volunteer because of the feeling I got with the ironman. When I told Chris about it he was totally on board because that is all I talked about and how amazing of an experience it was for me. So we did it we volunteered and Chris caught the bug! So fast forward to 6 months ago and he said I am doing it I know I can do it. So he signed up and got to training. About 4 weeks before the race he popped his knee... He thought ok that was it HE couldn't do it because he had to take about a week and a half off. I told him that he should just see how far he could get the week before and he said if I can just get to 15 miles I am still going to do it. Well he made the 15 mile mark so he was ready to do it.
He got up at 4 am and headed up to the starting line. When I got out of bed, we got ready and went out to the course to cheer him on. About mile 23 we saw him and he was in alot of pain but pushing through it. We saw him there and took off to get to the finish line to see him cross! about 10 min later he crossed the finish line! I am so proud of him! He set his goal and did it. He worked hard and pushed through. After the Race him and I talked about it and he said that it was one of the most spiritual experiences he has ever had. Every time he thought about quiting Heavenly Father would give him strength and send someone in the form of volunteers or runners to help him on the way. I asked him if he would do it again and he said yes, that next year in fact he plans on doing it and finishing faster! I sure do love him and couldn't be a more proud wife!
3 months
I dont know if anyone ever looks at this anymore but for journaling sake... Sawyer is 3 months old, he is over 12 pounds and is about 25 inches! He is tall! He is sure growing fast and he lights up whenever his brothers and daddy walk in the room! (no love for mom but he sees me ALL the time!)

His favorite time is definitely in the morning when we are hustling and bustling getting his older brothers ready for school! I don't have stats yet, His apt is next week! He sleeps great and as you can see is definitely packing on the pounds!!

Newborn Photos!
We have a friend in our ward who is an amazing photographer! The day after I had Sawyer I called her and set a date for her to do his newborn photos! He was 6 days old when we took his pictures! I can not say enough great things about Amber! She had the cutest ideas for pictures and worked with Sawyer perfectly! Check her out!!! Here are just a few of our favorites! ( I can not post all of our favorites there would be WAY to many!!)
Adjusting...
What a busy busy 2 weeks we have had! We have had many visitors, and are gearing up for a few more! Chris' brother Steven and his wife Abby were here when I got out of the Hospital and were at our apt and welcomed us home. Steven and Chris took our older boys swimming so I could relax and Abby kept me company. Then 2 days later Chris' mom Carol came for a week. We had so much fun and it was so nice to have her here to help me out!! We also got to take Carol Wedding dress shopping!!! Yes Carol is getting married to a wonderful guy who treats her great! They are getting married in October SO... Now that Sawyer is here we are in wedding mode!! She found a beautiful dress! It has been so much fun planning for her. We sure had a fun time with them all!
We are now getting ready for 2 of my sisters coming into town to meet our new little guy! Danielle, Becca and Danielle's little boy Jaxson are coming tomorrow! So now I get to snuggle Sawyer and my newest nephew Jax! I feel so happy! I hope that Jax and Sawyer become best friends as they are only a few months apart! Then the next weekend Chris' Dad is coming into town! We don't get to see him very often because he lives in Texas so the boys are always excited to see him. Then a week or so later My older sister will be in town! We sure have a busy last couple of weeks of Summer! All the while Getting Duncan ready for 2nd grade and Beckham ready for his first year of preschool! Whew!! I am tired just looking at all of this!!
It seems strange to me, but this time around things are so different with me more then anything else. I seem to have more anxiety, and I have really bad separation anxiety with Sawyer. I have a hard time with him not being in the same room with me. I don't know if this is normal or not. I remember having it with Duncan a little bit, but I chalked it up to him being sick at the hospital for the beginning of his little life. I didn't have it with Beckham, but now am having it with Sawyer. I am starting to adjust and get back to normal.
Today is Pioneer day so we had a big stake breakfast and took the boys out to that and they had all kinds of games for the boys to play! They had a blast! Here is to making through the rest of the Summer!

Sawyer Clarey Walker
Well this is my last night in the hospital and I figure I am probably not going to have as much time to document the birth story once I am home with all 3 boys!
First let me start out by saying that with both Duncan and Beckham I did not make it past week 37 so I guess I had kinda set myself up for, another early delivery, so when week 37 passed then week 38 I had gotten so down, I know it sounds crazy but eh it is what it is. So I went in for my last apt on Monday July 8 before my scheduled c-section scheduled on July 11th, now on and off I had contractions all week long. So when I went in for my apt on Monday morning things were going smooth and we finalized all the details for the C section on Thursday. I went home was finishing up some things around the house and grocery shopping. I was still contracting all day and I noticed they were coming a little more often and harder but nothing I couldn't handle. So after making dinner for the kids and putting them to bed I laid down and noticed the contractions were coming 6 min apart so I called my mom and she said well lets just make sure that I don't dilate to quick since I have C sections I cant dilate. So off to the Hospital we went and upon arrival we found that I had progressed but only a small amount however my contractions still were not slowing down so we talked to the Dr and he decided to just observe and see if they would subside. They hooked me up to an IV and about 5 min later they started coming faster and stronger, so they decided to go ahead with the Csection. About 30 min later little Sawyer Clarey Walker made his Debut on July 9th at 1:27 am Weighting in at 7 pounds 2 oz ( my biggest baby!) He is a dream already. He never cries, sleeps great and loves to snuggle! He really looks like Beckham only his hair is darker, longer, and has a bit more of it. Duncan loves him and cant get enough! Beckham is still getting used to him. We will continue to work on that! ;)
