A New Niece

I also got to meet my new little Niece Brinley Elizabeth! She was born 4 days after Beckham. I hope they are so close growing up! She is absolutly a doll. I have really enjoyed being pregnant with my sister, we shared everything at just about the same time too! Orignally Beckham was supposed to be a week younger than Brinley but as you now know I cant wait for anything! He came early and beat his little cousin here!

Brothers

Well today we finally got around to taking pictures of the boys. I am feeling good, I am up and moving around, I am finding it hard to deal with not being able to carry or lift Duncan but I guess that will just take some time. Duncan loves loves loves his brother. He always wants to hold him. We have only experienced one day of melt downs and Chaos. So I simply gave the baby to my mom to hold and sat and played and that seemed to do the trick! Beckham is such a joy to have he sleeps well and I think he crys only when he gets hungry and its more of a whin to let me know. He doesnt even cry when I change his diaper.

Beckham Cole Walker

Thats right folks the day came! He just wanted to be here early. (a growing trend with my children) Here is all the fun details... I went in for my doctors apt on wed the 15th with everything looking great and measuring great! I went home went about my day took it easy/ I went to bed feeling a little presure but nothing abnormal. I woke up about 12:30 am and thought oh my gosh I think I just pe'd my pants I know its gross but thats what I thought. I got up to clan up and realized that it wasnt stopping! So Chris is at work and I am trying to call him and cant get a hold of him. I walk (slosh) to Carols room and ask if she has a pad or something that can hold up till I get to the hospital to which I got the response... Oh shoot! I have to call in to work! haha I thought that was pretty funny! She said she didnt have anything and so I go on a hunt and find Becca asking her the same question. Alas she doesnt have anything ethier. So then we had to get creative Since Duncan still wears a Pull up to bed... well you can figure it out! We got to the hospital around 1:15 (still trying to reach Chris, Finally reached him and he was headed to the hospital.) They checked me all out and I as dialated to one and defenatly lossed my water! They told me they would have a time for me to go to the Operating room around 5 in the morning. So I waited called a bunch of family and got all prepped!

I walked into the OR and they put in the spinal and I was in my own world! My mom was not able to be there this time(bummer) but I could not have asked for Chris to help me any better! He really got me through the whole process! I was my rock! Next thing I knew I hear the little guy cry. He was born at 5:28 am and weighted in at 6 pounds 10 oz. 20 1/2 inch long and his head was 13 1/2 around. THis experience may not have been 100% planned but much more enjoyable. I got out of the OR and went to recovery and slept and slept. I got to my room and Chris went and got Beckham around 8:30 and I got to hold my little boy! He is so handsome. He really is beautiful. Not really sure who he looks like yet but we love him so much. My recovery has gone well. I am a little sore in my back but other than that I am feeling pretty good. Beckham is a great baby who rarely cries, which is good because my roomates were not the best at "keeping to themselves" I dont mean like kept talking to me... I would not have minded that but they were all pretty rude and thought that they deserved there own room. (thanks RObert for going to bat for my own room) We came home today and Beckham has slept great and eats like a champ! Duncan did not get to go upstairs cause of the Swine flu! so I have not seen him since he went to bed on Wed. He was waiting for us in the lobby and I of course started to sob! He is so excited to be a big brother and just loves to stare at him. He helps with Diaper changes and as soon as he can I am sure he will help with feeding him. We are glad to be home and healthy and are grateful for all the love and prayers.

SO much about the Baby, Heres an Update on Duncan!

So I thought I would write down some funny things that Duncan has said these past couple of days, He really keeps us laughing!

My mom has told him that she loves him to Infinity and beyond so when you ask him how much does mommy love you he says "to infinity and Beyond" or when you ask how much do you love .... whoever and he replys the same way. SO the other morning our conversation went a little like this!

Me: Hey Duncan how much do you love Mommy?

Duncan: To Infinity and Beyond!

M: How much do you love Nana?

D: To Infinity and Beyond!

M: How much do you love Daddy?

D: To Infinity and................... (Long Pause) 3 weeks!

M: Why only 3 Weeks?

D: Cause I do!

Then tonight he found some sun glasses and Chris' Hat and puts it on and says Mom I am a Fug... (Thug!) I have no idea where he got it from? Who knows but at least I have a picture to go with the words!

Almost 36 weeks

Ok so Here it is 35 1/2 weeks. I feel like I am about to explode!!! I see the Specialist on Monday to get some more info on the size of his head and such but apparently its not just his head, its also his chest SO I guess I have a Large baby in there! I can tell you that I am really ready to have him!
