Beckhams 1st Birthday!

I am a little late but alas moving takes a lot out of you!
We celebrated Beckhams first birthday last Friday! I cant believe how fast this year went! Crazy! We had some friends over and bbq hamburgers and hot dogs! He had a great time and never hesitated with the cake he saw it and then dove right in. He is now walking also! Its been so fun watching him walk around and getting into everything!

Summer so far

Warning long post ahead!


Ok so we made it! We are now in St George. Initially Chris was driving me and the boys up and staying for the weekend then going home to Fresno to continue working until I found a job to pay the bills then he was coming to find a job. Well Chris had a hunch to go out to a place in Hurricane to apply for a job... Mean while I was looking for a job the same day and found one in about 3 hours! I then get a phone call from Chris and he said that he had an interview in a few hours. Well that's awesome He could start in two weeks and get his stuff finish out his job there in Fresno.
Well his interview came and went he came home and told me that he would know within the hour. Well he waited and they called and said that he got the job and that he would only start at 24 hours a week then work up to the full time, ok well that could work... Oh and you start tomorrow at 7 am! Oh my what a surprise! So we both got jobs in one day and Chris went to work the next day and they told him they liked him so much they gave him full time that day with benefits! So a little about our jobs:
I am working at Honey Baked Ham and I love it! I work part time so I still get to see the kids all the time. I am working with food which I love! I have just learned to Glaze the hams ( not as easy as it sounds) Its perfect for me! I love it!
Chris is working for a place called Diamond Ranch Academy. Its a sort of boarding school for troubled teens. He has two little "families" that he watches over and also loves it. I think that he does so well with this kind of things! The kids wake up have breakfast go to school then have clubs and activities they get sort of demerits if they are bad and rewards if they are good! Chris' schedule is a little weird but great at the same time!
He works 104 hours every two weeks but that counts sleep. One week he works sun thru wed Sunday 7am thru 7am Monday then back to work Mon thru wed from 3 pm thru 7 am the next day! Then the next week he only works Mon and Tues 3pm thru 7am so that means he always has Thurs thru sat off! and every other sun and wed off!

Carol came to visit a few weeks ago and they went to Bryce canyon while I worked all day. The boys loved it and they said it was beautiful and a lot cooler than here. We have had temp in around 116 the past two weeks!
